As servants of Jesus Christ, our mission is to “love the people” of Masonboro Baptist Church; to minister to their needs both spiritual and physical; to live lives which exalt Jesus Christ and to glorify God in all things; to foster a spirit of harmony within the body of Christ and to use our influence to bring others into His kingdom.
Masonboro’s Deacons meet monthly on the second Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.
We believe in congregational polity and as such, lay leaders play an integral role in the decision making and planning of our congregation. One way the laity is involved in church leadership is through service on various committees. Committees meet to consider the needs of the congregation and community and to discuss options for meeting those needs. Committees also bring recommendations before the church at quarterly business conferences.
