Simply Christian, by N.T. Wright, focuses on why Christianity makes sense. It is DVD based and requires reading a chapter a week. If you struggle with faith or if you want to be able to talk with those skeptical of the Christian faith, this study would benefit you. Gordon Wright will facilitate this class which will meet in the Seekers classroom for 10 weeks beginning January 18.
Have a New Kid by Friday helps parents learn to change the attitude, behavior, and character of their children. This DVD based curriculum is written by Dr. Kevin Leman, a well-known psychologist who has a great understanding of relationships. The class will meet in the Covenant classroom (Children's Education Center) for six sessions beginning January 18 and will be facilitated by Shirley Womble.
Griefshare will continue this winter led by June Gray. This support group helps people process grief by healing broken hearts and developing hope for the future. Anyone is welcome to join the group at anytime. The group meets in the Sojourners classroom beginning at 6 pm.
Bible Study, led by Larry Knowles, continues in conjunction with prayer meeting. The group studies one book of the Bible at a time and spends time praying for those in our church family and community that are in need. This study is open to anyone and is ongoing. Meet in the Issues classroom at 6 pm.
If you are interested in leading an adult study on Wednesday nights,

Senior Adults are valuable to Masonboro Baptist Church because of what they have done, what they do, and mostly for who they are. Our Senior Adult ministry is made up of "mature" adults 50 and older, who seek ways to use the gifts God has given them to strengthen our family of faith. Opportunities include weekly, monthly, and quarterly events which build and strengthen friendships and challenge Senior Adults to continue on in their faith journey. Our goal is to provide events that entertain and opportunities to serve and learn through local missions and community involvement.
Coming Events for Seniors:
First Friday- first Friday of each month at 11 am.
WBA Senior Adult Rally- February 10- Meet at the church at 9:30 to ride the bus. Rally is at 10:30 at Wrightsboro Baptist.
Senior's Morning Out- Feb. 20 at 9:30 am at K&W Cafeteria. Join us for breakfast and good fellowship.
