A Health Ministry emphasizes the wholeness of body, mind and spirit in church congregations. Under the leadership of Gail Gibson (Parish Nurse) and JoAnn Malpass, The Health Ministry Team functions as a supportive, caring team, working to reflect  God’s Love by promoting wholistic Christian health within and outside of the church congregation. Areas of ministry include; transportation for doctor visits and physical therapy appts., picking up prescriptions, providing respite care for short periods, providing and promoting health education, health fairs, etc, making home and hospital visits, providing wheelchair, crutches and walker loans, and providing a weekly “on call” member  to help co-ordinate resolutions for the needs of the congregation.

     We believe that God is the ultimate healer. Through prayer, faith and belief in God’s enabling, we can assist in fostering health, healing and the caring aspects of the congregation.
