Worship

One of the primary purposes of the church is to join together in worship. Each week we meet to honor God and to encourage one another through music, prayer, scripture reading, and hearing the sermon. Two worship styles allow participants to worship in a way that is personally meaningful. You’ll find everything from praise and worship music led by a band to choral anthems and hymns at Masonboro. Pastor Gordon’s message each week focuses on a particular passage of scripture and challenges us to consider how that passage applies to our lives today.

You are invited to join us for worship any Sunday at 8:30 or 11:00 am. Our services are easy to follow and are meant to fully engage worshipers in ways that will help your faith to grow. The Connect Service at 8:30 is a contemporary and casual service while the 11:00 service is more traditional. Please note, we are operating on a revised schedule for the summer from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend. One combined and blended worship service will be held each Sunday at 10:00 am.
